Was Jesus an Apocalyptic Teacher? |
And then the wise old Sage said, "Look for the beauties in life and ye shall find God waiting there for you. And then, don't be surprised if He asks, 'What took you so long?' ".

The word Apocalypse comes from the Greek word: apokálypsis; meaning "lifting of the veil" or "revelation".
The term "End Times" however, refers to the expected end of something, which may be any time, throughout history that you may choose, especially when you feel oppressed, poor or unsure about tomorrow. However, every "ending" is ever and always a new beginning of something. So, now, you may look ahead with hope. You now have a hint of the true "Apocalypse" that Jesus spoke of ... the beginning of a New Way of looking at and living life ... in love!
CONSIDER:
- What veil was Jesus, or Paul;, lifting? What was/is the new exposure, revelation, good news or "Gospel"?
- Did Jesus come to fulfill the Jewish Law and Prophesies, or did He come to change or simplify the worn out and complicated Dogmas of the old Jewish Laws?
- Why did He heal on the Sabbath – which was against Jewish Law - if he was fulfilling the law?
- Jesus told us of a loving, merciful God, as opposed to the vengeful God of the Jews!
- Is “The Way”, simply to “Love thy God as thyself and Love thy neighbor as thyself”?
- Is living a heavenly life on earth more about "Love one another" and “Do unto others as you would have them do to you”, or it is about "getting to heaven" by Jesus' actions ... instead of your own, as Paul would have us believe?
- Could "believing" have more to do with "Be Living and Be Loving" as Jesus exemplified - loving all he met, even thieves and robbers?
- Can those of other religions "get into heaven"? What about Atheists?
- Would not a God of Love welcome all back into the fold, into His/Her arms and heart ... if they/we could ever leave the Infinite Presence of Creator and Creation?
So, it is this author's opinion that Paul was the Apocalyptic Teacher, not Jesus! Jesus taught the Love of God, not "sin" for all his "kind", which is us, who are each and every one of us, "made in the image and likeness of God"!
P.S. By extension, apocalypse can refer to any "End Time" scenario, or to some "End of the World" in general. Thus, an Apocalyptic belief system can be employed in any time or place that you don't like or are unsure of. So, the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, is often referred to as The Apocalypse. But, would we recognize him if he actually walked up to us, dressed in modern clothing, and talked to us using modern terms and words ... as he did 2000 years ago? And, if the Apocalypse was imminent 2000 years ago, what happened, what went wrong, or is Paul's story of Jesus a true one???
NOTE: At the time of "death", you will experience your personal "End of Days" and for you, as with Jesus, "The veil in your temples will be torn asunder". In that moment, the "veil" or "illusion of separation" from life, all of life, God, beyond earth, body and mind, shall be lifted. Tge truth shall be revealed to you. THIS WILL BE YOUR PERSONAL MOMENT OF "APOCALYPSE"!

A recent Fox News article proposes several scenarios for a type of 2012 End of the World final conflagration. According to the article, “Welcome to the Apocalypse,” the end of the world will be painful, ugly and bleak for those on Earth in most of the depictions. For example, one scientist speculates “that the seas could turn to sulfur and decrease the overall levels of oxygen, poisoning us all.” ... http://www.endtime.com/apocalypse/

FURTHER QUESTIONS
At the birth of Jesus, what did the angels mean by "We bring peace on earth, good will to men", other than this was the hearlding of a teacher (Rabi, Mashiah) and an anointed Master bringing Love to Earth?
"And the angel said unto them, fear not, for I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people". The Apostle Paul heard the "to all people" part of this message and made that his mission.
Was Jesus always serious? Didn't Jesus ever laugh, play, have fun and enjoy life? One has to be joyful, playful and loving to spread "tidings of great joy", don't they?
What did Jesus, the Son of Man or the Teacher of Righteousness, goodness and love actually teach? The Gospel of Thomas gives us soe clues.
Could the boy and young man, Jesus, have traveled the civilized world with his grand uncle Joseph who was a Roman Minister of Mines and metals, with ships at his disposal? What about those Biblically Silent years? I found out , and so did my father, when we (separately) traveled to Glastonbury and Silbury England.
Might the boy Jesus then studied with the "Magi" who (somehow - did you ever wonder how ... they were Astrologers) knew of his birth, in their foreign lands?
Did He teach that we already have everlasting salvation within life, light and love ... because of our relationship to The God Within and have Everlasting Life with God-Goddess and All-That-Is, was and ever shall be (including relatives, past, present and future)?
Dn't he actually give a positive message that improved lives for all, with no mention of sin and no fear of death?
Did the idea of punishment, not being forgiven of sin, being left out or behind, actually come from Paul, who never "met" Jesus in person?
Was the negativity of sin and death and the miracles that this God-in-Man (greater than any of the Roman or Greek Gods) be used by Constantine to "convert" the masses ... when he retired as a Roman General and Emporer? This man had serious "control" issues and the Roman church, and many following it, have been very controling ever since.
Jesus' message wes one of freedom, love, no fear and joy!
"Fear not, I an with you always."

A Message from Jesus, by way of James E. Padgett (and Joseph Babinsky):
Early Christians were known as "The People of The Way"! So, what is The Way?
The way then is simply this:
Man shall believe with all the sincerity of their minds and souls that this great love of the Father is waiting to be [awakened within] each and all of them, and that when they come to the Father in faith and earnest aspirations, this love will not be withheld from them. And in addition to this belief, men shall pray with all the earnestness and longings of their souls that He open up their souls to the inflowing of this love, and that it then may [dawn] to them [that] the Holy Spirit to bring [is bringing them] this love into their souls in such abundance that their souls may be transformed into the very essence of the Father's love. [As Jesus lived nd taught (by example).]
The man who will thus believe and pray will never be disappointed, and the way to the kingdom will be his as certainly as the sun shines day by day upon the just and the unjust alike. No mediator is needed, nor are the prayers or ceremonies of priests or preachers, for God comes to man, Himself, and hears his prayers and responds thereto by sending the comforter, which is the Father's messenger for conveying into the souls of men this great Divine Love.
So, I implore [you] to meditate on these great truths, and in meditating believe, and when believing, pray to the Father for the inflowing of this Divine Love into [your] soul, and in doing so [you] will experience belief, faith and possession and ownership of that which can never be taken from [you]- no, not in all eternity.
And so it is with man to choose and fix his destiny. Will that destiny be the perfect man or the Divine Angel?
