This Church does not claim to be "The Only Way". We simply offer Another Way, to understand the Grandeur and Grace of Love within the infiniteness of God-Goddess and the Universes ... another path for love to create and find its way. Instead of telling you that "We have The One and Only Way", we offer you the freedom of your soul and offer; "Every One their Own Leeway", as the Loving God-Goddess does.

So, while there are always those who think that the only goals should be order and perfection, our founders, organizers and facilitators are not of that "orthodox" persuasion. Yes, to some we do tend to be a "paradox" . And, yet, by and large the people who attend our functions are mutually supportive of our facilitators and each other. And, if one of our facilitators drops the ball someone is always ready to pick it up! Our "flow" of loving allowance allows for occasional surprises, or opportunities for the synchronicities of creation to be revealed. And best of all, we know how to laugh. That brings healing all around.

You Are Love, for Love is all there is!

Rather than being Bible Based with words,this church is heart based in Love, which is forever. And so, our "mystical" side looks beyond the physical as being all there is to life, while our "spiritualist" side believes in the communion of souls throughout Everlasting Lives.
Many churches stress "Faith" as being important. So, what is our faith like? Dr. Wayne Dyer pretty well sums it up in these words, “It is an act of FAITH to listen to your inner promptings, and then go with them.” Thus we are a "Charismatic" church not revering a single book or teacher, for in all of Creation, everything and everyone is valuable! Thus, nothing is ever valueless or lost!
P.S. The Mystical Spiritualist Church in NOT an "Orthodox" church in the usual sense! But, our founders, Brother John, and Martine Kohlenberger believe that we follow in many of the ways of love that Jesus lived and taught. Thus, we do not believe the story of sin, death and eternal fires of damnation that Paul (and Plato) invented!

In Brief:
What is a "Mystical Spiritualist"church?
- We all come from Mystical and magical origins, beyond the 3-D world, and this church acknowledges these origins so that we are helping to build "bridges" to those forgotten origins.
- This church, then, is considered Spiritualist because we are finding ways to "Pierce the Veil" so that heaven is made more manifest on the earth. While many new age churches employ the psychic energies, of the mind, but we are going beyond that, seeking the "Soul Perspective" of the 5th dimension so that we may experience and know ourselves and others as Eternal Souls ... grander that the limitations of our human experience.
- And we know that there are many mysteries yet to be unfolded.

Science and Spirituality Meet Here ... in this church!
Hear ye Oh Israel (meaning: "all hopeful people"); thy Self, thy God and thy Universe is Unified!
Who you are is indeed grand and truly wondrous!
Who you, and we all are, is a facet of the God/Goddess, Creator, a Vibration of Creative Energy and All-That-Is. If this were not so, you and I would not even be here. So, that which we call the universe is part of who you, I and we all are. You are the God-Goddess of You. You are the universe. Nothing else really exists outside of you, except those things, events, situations and people that may show you who you really are. It is as if we each live inside a grand mirror, giving us a reflection to show you, me and we how wonderful and how magnificent you and Creation are.
P.S. This is the "Unified Theory", of Spirituality!

Who are we and What do we believe?
• We are Mystical: Believing in communion with The Living Spirit, or God, and the ability for direct experience with Spirit, the Angels, Saints and Loved Ones.
• We are Spiritualists: Believing in everlasting life; the “dearly departed” are still alive in Spirit and may communicated with.
• We are Metaphysical: Practicing the ability to increase our awareness beyond the confines of earth, body and mind through Relaxation, Contemplation, Chanting, Meditation, Toning and other means.
• We Seek Greater Truths and Awareness: Thus, we follow wisdoms revealed through our connections with the Universal God-Goddess energy - which is all that is, was and ever shall be.
• We Believe in God-Goddess: which is the all in ALL; All-That-IS, without any specific (limiting) characteristics of an individual being, yet a living presence within each and every particle in the earth, air, seas, leaves, trees, animal, including each and every human being … even YOU!
• We believe in No Hierarchy: There is no one above you and there is also no one below you, for we are each on our own divine path … on a quest to understand and experience unconditional love, which is the energy of God-Goddess.
• We Believe that the Masters, Prophets, Saints, Angels and loved ones are our brothers, sisters and helpers, not judges: Each expression of life is unique and related to all others, as we all have but one Source. Thus, Jesus, Buddah, Lao Tse, Mohammed, Krishna and others are our Brothers In Spirit that have shown us their way of Inner Light and Love throughout their lives (each in their own way), so that we might Live Life More Abundantly.
• We Believe in No sin and no Devil: These are inventions of our linear conscious and fearful subconscious minds, inspired by our illusions of separation from All-That-Is. Greater Mind is loving, benevolent, non-linear, multidimensional yet nondimensional and even beyond Quantum!
• Our God is not our King and does not sit on a throne: for, He, She, It, They, We are One and exist within each other; within, yet also beyond, 3-D, 4-D or any other measure (THIS IS THE AWSOME CREATION THE PROPHETS SPOKE OF). So, as God lives within each one of us, why not bring that Love. Light and Life out to play ... with each other?
• Yes, Jesus is our brother, not our savior; for all are saved in their own (which is also God's) time and way. Thus, by the love of God, no one would ever be left out or behind!

THE ORIGINAL BASIS OF THE MYSTICAL SPIRITUALIST CHURCH:
We prefer that your belief system is that you are your soul face forward rather than to believe that you are fully separate from your soul; believing that you are connected with God and the multiverse rather than being alone and separate from other people, nature and All-That-IS.
You are already perfect, made in the image and likeness of God and The Gods but you forgot.
Your “perfection” or enlightenment is not to have fully attained all wisdom, knowledge, or learning. Rather it is to find love as the act of learning a process which lasts for ever and ever. At that time, you will love yourself as how you are rather than how you might be “when you are perfect.”

Turning the old-fashioned church on its head:
As Roman Christianity became formalized, there became two different ways of running churches; 1) clerical, running a heiarchy by a clergy and 2) charismatic, run by inspiration or gifts of the spirit. Unlike many of today's churches, this Mystical Spiritualist church is "run" by a combination of these, with ministers that work with and by spiritual inspiration.

THE SPIRITUAL EVOLUTION OF THIS CHURCH
It all began eons ago:
Many early churches followed the teachings of Jesus who became the Christ. Some of these were:
Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria, Bnistic-Christians, Egyptian Orthodox Church (Gnostics)
Greek Orthodox Church of Turkey, Greek Orthodox Church
Marcionites, started by the writings of Marcion of Sinope at Rome, Not known today
Ebionites, Jewish-Christians of Palestine and , , Not known today
However, James the brother of Jesus was effectively the Bishop at Jerusalem (Blessed are the poor)
Orthodox Catholic of Rome, after 425, decreed by Constantuine, Roman Catholic Church
o Which became the "parent" of the many off spring, called "Protestant" churches
The Mystical United Spiritualist Church was founded by Jack & Ethel Rowe in 1976. According to Ethel, Jack Rowe had lived a previous life as a Gnostic Christian in Egypt. The Gnostics are the people, who according to the Edgar Cayce and other sources, the Holy Family stayed with while they lived in Egypt at the time that they were avoiding the edicts of King Herod. So it was that Jack must have read many of the Coptic Christian texts and believed in their philosophies.
John and Martine Kohlenberger discovered that church in 1991 and found a "home" with Jack and Ethel Rowe, learning much from both. Thus, it seems that, many of these Coptic/Gnostic philosophies have been (spiritually) resurrected in the Mystical Spiritualist Church; as many were in John's innate belief system by the time he was a teenager, even though he was raised in the Presbyterian church and his grandfather was a German Methodist minister.
Interestingly, as I (John) was recently reading the Gospel of Mary , I find that we follow much of what is put forth in that and other Gnostic/Coptic Christian texts such as the Gospel of Thomas.
EXAMPLE:
In the Gospel of Mary (Magdalene) it is related that ... the blessed one greeted them all, saying, "Peace be with you. Receive my peace to yourselves. Beware that no one lead you astray, saying, 'Lo here!' or 'Lo there!' For the Son of Man is within you. Follow after him! Those who seek him will find him."
In this church, we believe that "God is Alive and hiding in each one of us", as Jesus did, thus we encourage each one to find all people to be born of God and Man, thus each may be called the Son or Daughter of the Divine; as Jesus claimed to be!

WHOSE LIFE AND REALITY IS THIS, ANYWAY?
Jesus is our example by which to live our lives.
By your love, you are the power-place. You create your reality. And we remind you that there are multitudinous earths. Also, there is not just one reality, there are infinite realities as many as there are people. It is up to you to create your day-to-day desired reality. You have the tools., but you must live in the present and be thankful and in gratitude for what is, now. If you see nothing to be thankful for, look again.
As you are loving and thankful, say “Thank You” in that now. This will change your world. Your world is created from Who You Are (moment by moment). If you tap into the fear, disaster, sad and fearful stories then that is what your life is. So, be AWARE of all of the beautiful and wonderful things NOW. Look around you and say Thank You!
If each of you did this, you would be in the most wonderful abundance across your entire plane of reality. It is (all) up to you, really. The more of you who say, “Thank You" in appreciation of What IS Now, the more who see the beauty of change in the disaster, the more of you will recognize the love that you truly are and to be all you can be in every waking moment. And forgive yourself when you fall off the power. You can’t get life wrong, you really can’t. But if you don’t like what you’re creating in your day-to-day reality, only you have the power to transform it. Only you, and you DO have the power. Follow your hearts my beloved ones.

Now ... WHO ARE WE ... AS SOULS?
